11.28.23 Remembering Hassan Nicholas Del Campo: A Community Champion

On 11.25.2023, the community bid farewell to a beloved figure, Hassan Nicholas Del Campo. Known as a friend, colleague, neighbor, and entrepreneur, Hassan's unexpected departure left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy, however, lives on through the lives he touched and the impact he made during his time on earth.

Hassan was more than just a talented individual; he was a beacon of creativity and community development. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he offered his expertise in various areas, from teaching classes to providing entrepreneurial training and credit cleanup sessions. His willingness to share knowledge and support others in realizing their business dreams was a testament to his generous spirit.

As an artist, designer, and graphic artist, Hassan's creative touch graced numerous projects, including the design of Power Luncheon invitations, boards, and banners. His artistic vision brought life and vibrancy to every endeavor he undertook, leaving a lasting impression on all who encountered his work.

The image of Hassan in front of the red brick wall serves as a poignant reminder of the past, particularly the former RISE office building that was demolished in 2018 to make room for a new affordable housing complex. Hassan's anticipation of moving into the new space symbolizes his commitment to community development and his belief in creating a better future for all.

In honor of Hassan's memory and the indelible mark he left on the community, a memorial will be dedicated to him within the new space. His legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who follow in his footsteps, carrying forward his passion for creativity, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.

Though Hassan may no longer be physically present, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his impact will forever resonate in the lives he touched and the community he helped shape. Rest in peace, Hassan Nicholas Del Campo, a true champion of community development and a cherished friend to many.
